The Whapi channel status BANNED means WhatsApp itself has blocked the connected number β this is a block on WhatsApp's side, not a restriction from the Whapi API. The exact reason is usually unknown, as WhatsApp doesn't disclose it.

What to do:
Log out from the channel and change the proxy IP address β this reduces the risk of the new or restored number getting banned again from reusing the same already-compromised IP.
If you're not a partner β please send Please send the channel ID to the support chat or to care@whapi.cloud so we can change the proxy.
Partners can do this themselves in the partner admin panel.
You can try requesting an unblock β instructions here: Unlocking Your WhatsApp Number. The outcome isn't guaranteed, as the decision is made by WhatsApp.
If your channel page shows "Proxy issue detected", it means a proxy is set on your channel, but the connection to it is unstable.
How to check your proxy:
Copy your proxy (format: socks5://login:password@ip:port)
Go to Infatica Proxy Checker
In Target URL, enter https://web.whatsapp.com (no trailing spaces)
Set Proxy Type to socks5
Paste your proxy into the field and run the check
if the check shows the proxy isn't working, open your channel Settings and remove or replace the proxy, then save. This can also be done via the API using the Update channel settings method (proxy field).
